Who will KISS my AS goodbye? Ankylosing Spondylities Part 4 Ankylosing Spondylitis YouTube group http://youtube.com/group/ankylosingspondyliti D&C VIDEOS http://www.youtube.com/dandcvideos THE METAMORPHOUS where we're changing every frame. We would like to thank you all for coming and viewing our videos. It is so very much appreciated when you rate them and reply to them. As this is what we hope and wish for that you will make D&C VIDEOS your choice for viewing here on YouTube. We reply to all responses as we believe that if you are kind of enough to take your time out to post a reply you deserve that respect in return. Again our deepest gratitude. As you can see we are a married couple from little ole' Pickering Village, Ajax, Ontario, Canada which is just a little east of Toronto. A beautiful little town that has a creek by the name of Duffins that flows through it. A most beautiful nature trail and some very old architecture that we will be doing videos of. We intend to create videos also as we travel to other destinations no matter where they be. We love to attend special events and get involved in community. Just like on YouTube.

I think im in the exact same situation as you, the pain in my ass switches from side to side, sometimes its really bad and other times its not as bad, but I cant run properly anymore, i used to be a semi - pro footballer now im struggling to walk most of the time.

Today is one of my worst days. Every move i make i can almost scream. I just got back from a regular doctor and she really didnt want to hear what i had to say about AS. I went there for some pain killers. She gave me muscle relaxers... Its not working and I told her it wouldnt... Thankyou David for that tip. Im going to try the bike. - Chris

I find Craqerzruz when the pain is that accute getting on an exercise bike for 10 minutes increases the circulation and alleviates much of this discomfort and pain! :) David

Well tom198125 the pain in the buttocks went away for me. As the fusion becomes more progress pain becomes less over time as the damage increases. Once everything in the spine is fused it is my experience that the pain is not near as accute as the beginning stages. :) David

Thanks Dave, im 26 in August by the way, yea sounds as tho I may have it then, I was just a bit concerned about whether or not I can still be physically active because I play a lot of football. The thing is at the moment I cant really run or turn without pain in my ass, do you think this may go at all? Anyway, thanks for your help, I felt a bit devastated when I realised theres a good chance its AS, but at the end of the day its not the end of the world.

tom198125 AS can attack any joints and you do not have to have stiffness in your neck or low back pain for this to occur. :) David

Depending on your age tom198125 it can take years before it gets to the point that you cannot do sports. Everyone is different. When it starts to affect your spine and you start getting low back pain then you will know that things have progressed. :) David

It sure is a sign tom198125 that there is a very good possibility that you do have AS or another form of arthritis. I use to get it where the sacroiliac is. Many people with AS have to undergo hip and knee replacements. I was in my late twenties when things really hit me. :) David
