I am not a expert on this topic , but they have told me if PR became its own country or even a state it would be financial suicide for PR. Many people only see the tourist side and hotels , but the average PR is lower middle class to poor ( go to Ponce or Naranhito that is where my family hails from ), and could not afford to pay US taxes or taxes as a seperate country. __________________________________________________ | |
