RobertDJames2 ::: Favorites kasparov's games after about 1978 were all prearranged. karpov-kasparov in 84 was a ludicrous show of prearranged games led by the jewish mafia in the old soviet union. Great games, but prearranged. It killed classical chess, completely killed it. 07-09-09 02:20:05 __________________________________________________
RobertDJames2 ::: Favorites They weren't outrageous, and fide did not concede to anything. 07-09-09 02:14:12 __________________________________________________
frankwillissa ::: Favorites Spassky played both Fischer and Karpov and said Fischer had the edge in 75 but would probably have lost to Karpov in 78. Karpov was the second best player ever. Kasparov could only beat him when he was well past his prime and after 40+ draws. Kasparov was the last of the great soviet trained players and easily thrashed everyone from then on. Fischer was the best though, he made Spassky look bad but Spassky was a very good player too. 07-08-27 22:23:10 __________________________________________________

Geprodis ::: Favorites Karpov likes to say he beat himself in the first world championship match against Kasparov. In reality, a younger, fresher chess mind deciphered his core stratagems and he was defeated. 07-07-18 13:04:49 __________________________________________________
SyphonFilter1 ::: Favorites Kaparov and Karpov are chess legend. 07-07-18 06:40:56 __________________________________________________
bobobang ::: Favorites Yeah, and the IBM fuckers didn't allow Kasparov to analyse a single game from Deep Blue before the match. That was really unfair 07-07-17 05:52:22 __________________________________________________
JIM2u007 ::: Favorites jackson32 How about Fischer Random Chess (Chess960, Ches480, Double Fischer Random etc.)? There goes the database. LOL. Must have irked Kasparov to lose it to Deep Blue AND a lesser Master. 07-07-13 10:56:08 __________________________________________________ |
