He did however out-debate Hedges, which is really no compliment when you consider how much stronger and logically sound his initial atheist and non-religious position is than Hedge's. Actually about the same amount to say that a Nobel Peace Prize winner (you know who I mean) was not a man of peace. As you know, Hedges didn't win the PP outright - he was part of several journalists on the NYT team. But you are wilfully dissimulating now - his apologies for islamists such as Hamas and Hezbollah have been continuing for years. Hedges does survey a different explanation and view, concerning jihadism, but to call any of it «apologetic» requires a good amount of fully intended malice. paxdemocratica ::: Favorites Watch the Hitch-Hedges debate, or the Harris-Hedges debate, which you quite clearly haven't. You'll find excuses for suicide bombings and terror attacks aplenty, and a good dose of religious apologetic for good measure. Hardly a 'slightly different opinion' to Hitchens by any standard.
