K4SWX ::: Favorites A supercell basicly is a thunderstorm, that with the right conditions develops a rotating tilted updraft, What this does is keeps the rain and hail from falling back down thru the updraft like conventional storms basicly killing the storm, if the shear is strong when the storm develops and a bunch of other factors i wont get into the rotation will increase thats when you get the wall cloud at the base of the updraft and where a tornado may form 07-07-25 04:34:37 _____________________________________________________
