Williams has neither the technical mastery of Yepes (the clarity and precision of extended, prestissimo trills and embellishments) - he cannot even play the final rasgueado chord of the cadenza as written and has to do it an octave lower - nor does he come close to having Yepes' musicality, sense of drama, colour, tempo rubato etc. 07-06-19 01:51:45 _____________________________________________________

I think he caused guitarists great embarrassment considering how he totally blew all the heroes of the guitar out of the water, utterly surpassing them in technique and musical understanding.
