Description:
As automakers look to curb fuel consumption, the North American International Auto Show saw the unveiling of a new electric-powered concept car by General Motors (GM) - Chevy Volt. The Chevy Volt is a battery-powered electric vehicle that uses a gas engine to create additional electricity. The Volt can also run on E85 to deliver 150 miles-per-gallon (mpg). During the show, GM also introduced a new family of propulsion systems - the E-flex System - which is a series of vehicles that will produce energy from gasoline, ethanol, bio-diesel or hydrogen. The Volt is the first vehicle in the E-flex system. |

deftonesfan123 ::: Favorites Ummm GM just announced that it will be built by 2010. 07-03-20 21:02:22 _____________________________________________________
LovePontiac ::: Favorites The Telsa uses much more expensive batteries. That car only seats 2 people and costs $80,000+. GMs goal of 40 miles is much more reasonable, and will make the car cheap enough for the average person. 07-04-29 16:15:11 _____________________________________________________
h2fcell ::: Favorites If GM's only source of income were from electric hybrids like the Chevy Volt, they'd be making millions of them. "Stop buying or leasing NEW gasoline powered cars". See my vids. 07-05-21 08:20:20 _____________________________________________________
h2fcell ::: Favorites There is a question being asked to GM shareholders on Yahoo! Answers. If you own GM stock, go to "Yahoo! Answers" and search for "GM Shareholder proposal for action vote?" 07-06-05 08:16:36 _____________________________________________________
SeRiAlKiLLErIsback ::: Favorites FUCKING RETARD SHUT THE FUCK UP. I say GM is gonna make this in the next 3 years. GO bang your mom you GASOLINE LOVER. GO DRINK GASOLINE FOR breakfast. And fart CO2 into the air and the cops will inspect your ass for overemission. While we all drive this ANOTHER GREAT AMERICAN invention. 07-06-20 16:15:03 _____________________________________________________
SeRiAlKiLLErIsback ::: Favorites DUMBASSES, this car doesnt use gas to run the wheels, only to generate electricity. So the emission is zero. 07-06-20 16:16:23 _____________________________________________________
tribluered ::: Favorites I wonder if this is just a way for them to get main stream attention, without actually selling an electric car. 07-07-08 20:41:03 _____________________________________________________
tribluered ::: Favorites If this car was going to sell, they would do it now. Why are they saying they will sell it in 2010 or something in the distant future? Other EV automakers are going to rake in the big bucks next year. 07-07-09 13:12:42 _____________________________________________________
tribluered ::: Favorites Lithium is the next target on GM's EV assassination list. 07-07-14 03:42:23 _____________________________________________________
Incipidone ::: Favorites you are corny 07-07-24 15:41:42 _____________________________________________________ |
