| lindyhop411 2008-03-21 23:06:28 Go to "dsds" dot org for a list of events. It looks like there's something going on every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday Nights. __________________________________________________ | |
| SiriusPotterFan 2008-03-20 14:12:52 Ha, I just wish my parents would think so. I know that *I* think so. Swing dancing is one of the most fun things I've ever done. The first time I got flipped, I couldn't think straight for a full 30 seconds. But I'll try to convince them, I suppose. Where would you recommend in Dallas? __________________________________________________ | |
| lindyhop411 2008-03-20 11:28:51 I normally drive over an hour to go out dancing on the weekends. Trust me, it's worth it. __________________________________________________ | |
| SiriusPotterFan 2008-03-18 18:28:32 Haha, no, I can't. Well, Dallas is like 45 minutes away, so I don't suppose that's a good idea. But thank you very much. This is really cool. Maybe I'll get lucky later in life. :) __________________________________________________ | |
| lindyhop411 2008-03-18 17:39:34 Well first off, you can't learn Lindy Hop from any ballroom, so throw out that idea. Secondly, you are close to Dallas, and there's a big swing dance scene there! Do a web search for the Dallas Swing Dance Society. They may not be able to get you dancing this fast, but they'll be able to get you headed in the right direction. __________________________________________________ | |
